Hello all!
I've been lurking for over a year and decided I should intro myself. This forum/site has been invaluable to me. I have successfully solved several chicken problems from reading these boards. Everything from keeping the run from getting too funky to what to do with a broody hen and why the heck are the hens eating the roos's feathers? Figured that one out from reading here. And how to treat him and keep the problem from recurring.
I have a dozen chickens. Wyandottes, Cinnamon Queens, RIR (that's what I was told they were, one has been sitting on eggs for two weeks. I didn't think they did that) and Cochins. The rooster is a cochin.
We live outside of Columbus in the suburbs.
And I dunno what else to add. LOL
