Noob on board!

I'm just starting my personal backyard chicken adventure, and hoping that I don't fail miserably. I'm in central Virginia (rural area outside Charlottesville), and many of my neighbors keep chickens, so I figure I should be able to do so as well.

For sure I'll be spending a lot of time perusing these forums, and I look forward to learning from the experts.
