Noob to having chickens but not to the idea. Coop pics

I got four six month old chickens and love them already. I have been wanting to raise chickens for eggs for a long time. When my wife didn't flinch this last time I talked to her i went ahead and built a coop. I had to hurry cause the chickens arrived a week early so be gentil on my design.. I got the wooden box from work and the roofing from the mother in law so I just had to buy 2x4's and chicken wire. It was fun to build.

I got 4 eggs the next day. I have been averaging 4 a day. I love it.

I Am thinking I need a coop about the size of yours...how many chickens do you have, and do you have any interior pics? I need ideas of how to set it up in a small fashion while providing maximum space and ease of getting to! Thanks!

Thanks for the nice comments. I plan on putting 4 or 5 boxes in there soon but right now I have the whole bottom lined with straw. All 4 chickens use one small depression in the straw to lay their eggs. I'd like to make a door on the back to reach the eggs while the chickens are out and about. How ever I like going in and socializing with the ladies.

Looks great. If you have predators in your area i would recommend a heavier wire. Chicken wire is only good to keep chickens in. Welcome to BYC
