Nope - they aren't dirty. :)

I gave away a bowl of Coturnix eggs and let her know that I didn't wash them. I usually keep them unwashed until I eat them. They aren't too dirty to begin with anyway.

The next time I saw my friend, she said "Man, those eggs are SO dirty! I've spent so much time scrubbing them!" And I said "What do you mean? They're probably cleaner than my chicken eggs?" And she said "But I've been scrubbing off all the brown spots!" I had a good laugh and let her know that wasn't dirt.

That is some hard core scrub'n right there... Wonder if her dalmatian has any spots left?

I wonder if she had to have at it with a strong bristle brush? Surprised she didn't crush any in the process....
