ok final count 5 out of 6 eggs that made it to lockdown hatched !!!!!!!!!!!!! i have 4 jg and 1 penciled rock

Here is my entry. It is the first chick that hatched. It's a frizzle cochins. My daughter named it boots.

Just got my Brinsea yesterday afternoon. It.s been clean and running since then. I will set my serama eggs tonight or in the morning. Only have 8 or 9 but i'll start them anyway and start another row as soon as i have enough. I only have two laying hens right now!

Here is my contest entry for May. This little surprise was waiting for me the morning of May 2nd. The egg had actually been refrigerated, but when I lost my beloved bantam Cochin rooster to a raccoon, I put the few eggs that his favorite hen had laid in my incubator and hoped for the best. Thanks to Brinsea my rooster, Mr. Pants lives on!
