Normal for chicks to...

Today I was sitting with the chicks for a good while and noticed that they would walk under the heat lamp lay on their side and stretch their wing. They held it out there for awhile would jump up and move along..

I was noticing my older ones doing it and my one winged one doing it on its wingless side..

Is this normal??
