This (we guess) Light Brahma was hatched 3/30... Is it normal for that little feathering at this age?
All the others were just soooo much more feathered at this age! (Oh and if you doubt Light Brahma just say so... Someone put it in the wrong bin at the store.)

ETA: In this pic he is 4 weeks old.

That's not a light Brahma, but larger breed birds will feather out slower than smaller ones.

More research has proven that light Brahma chicks can be anywhere from nearly black to nearly white. The ones I've hatched were always white on their backs. I've learned something today. My Brahmas feather in slower than the other breeds.

Okay thanks... It was in the "mille de fleur" box... Evidently a customer was picking up the chicks even when it wasn't allowed... I asked for three of the MDFs and none of the are... I wish I remember what was in the box next to it... I had two other chicks that feathered in this slowly (GLW) and those two died... The third that feathered in quickly is thriving... Hence my concern..
