Normal or sick?

After laying her egg this morning (usually lays one) my leghorn is walking g around restlessly and panting. She is the only one panting. I do not know if this is normal or not. She let me pick her up and after trying to cool her down one bit of drool came out of her mouth. There is no stench but should I be doing something.? Please help me out

Are you sure she laid the egg? Sounds like she could be egg bound.

Yes. Normal time of day . One egg and that has been the usual routine.
