Normal poop

Is this Normal? I have had chickens about 1 year now and we haven't encountered this before

I don't think I've ever seen anything like this. I would take a guess it's intestinal shedding. Have you only found this one time? Can you take some stool samples to your vet for fecal float?

There might be a blockage in the digestive tract. I agree with Wyorp Rock, it would be best to take a stringy sample to a vet and have it looked at under a microscope for internal parasites including protozoa. It shouldnt cost much.
