Yes, I bought 12 chicks from a feedstore and they came with cocci, I lost 2 chicks before I started to catch on. I treated everyone of my chickens wih sulmet (at the local feedstore. )
signs of mine having cocci was
not moving much
really skinny
dead like
depressed.
mine had a terrible strain
they would loose weight, become a football and within 24 hours they were dead.
( I did see bloody poop one day, but after that I never saw bloody poop again so i diddent think much of it)
