I personally keep my bantam hens separately from my standard breeds. Your hen could get killed being repeatedly mated by such large roosters, I have read posts of big roosters breaking necks during mating. It's probably stressful for her too.I have a large Naked Neck/Turken rooster that has been breeding my OEG bantam
She seems to handle it okay but occasionally she seems to have a limp.
It wasn’t my intention but my Silkie roo died.
I’m trying to find another bantam roo but I’m not really wanting to raise one from a chick because my NN roo is already claiming the bantam girls as his.
But if I bring in a mature bantam roo I’m afraid my NN and my Australorp cockerel will fight with him because he’s a stranger.![]()
Unless you separate her out you cannot match her with an appropriate sized rooster. So separating her out than introducing a bantam rooster is the best way.
