Noromectin in water

Has anyone ever put injection ivermectin in the chicken water? I was told that you use 2cc per gal of water and let them drink it all day would this work I have so so many it would be a better way to dose them . DK

Ivermectin injectable is ineffective as a wormer in chickens, but it will still kill mites. Here's a link:
