I have 2 Black Ameracauna Roos ( hatched from Dipsy Doodle Doo's eggs ) that I would like to trade for 1 or 2 Ameracauna Hens. Would also consider selling outright or trading for other hens

Oh...I am in the Charlotte area

Hello,
I am from eastern NC, in the small town of Jamesville. I have pure RIR's (heritage), Welsummers and Marans. My marans are black copper, blue cooper, blue and cuckoos with golden cuckoos laying in the summer. I have included some pictures of my chickens. If anyone is interested in hatching eggs or chicks please PM me . Glad to see so many folks for NC here.

I am located in charlotte, NC. I am new to the chicken world. I finally convinced my husband to build a chicken coop. All I want are a few chickens that can lay a few eggs each day. Can anyone please give me advice as to what kind of chicken lays well in South West Charlotte (by Carowinds)? I can use all the help I can get!
Thanks
Carol

Carol- I forgot to tell you that we have been hatching chicks and have some ready to go soon.

I'm in Lincolnton, and I've got a Dominique roo that needs a new home. He's about 9 mos old and a really beautiful bird. Unfortunately the other birds don't like him, and he spends his free ranging time hiding (sometimes in my garage) and it's not much of a life. We're planning to put some excess roos in the freezer soon, but don't have the heart with this one. He is not aggressive at all, in fact is the most "chicken" chicken we have. Breaks my heart, but can't keep them all...

We've been to several of the Christian Music Days and Sonfest at Carowinds. The kids have a really good time with the all-day rides and then the music at night... I do too, actually.

I'm looking to trade my buff silkie rooster who is 8 months old for decent white silkie roo or hen. I prefer he had a good attitude with kids.

Mine is very sweet, and REALLY good at chasing off cats!!! He's afraid of nothing.

If that isn't an option I'm willing to trade fertile silkie eggs, for fertile silkie eggs.

Isn't there anyone around stokes or surry? I want to be able to see some poultry for sell closer than 1hour or more away! I'm interested in Orp pullets and Ancona pullets. Not many, just to diversify my flock a bit more.

I'm sure there are a bunch on here Hobbley. This thread is recent, and some people on here haven't ventured this way yet!

I also wanted to add I'll have chicks by march of mixed silkies. Closer to that time I'll be trading them or selling them.
