don't know where to get them at ashylove, but backswampgirl is having a meet/swap/trade/sell on march 22nd at 10am, in richland, nc. everybody sould come. just pm her and let her know that you would like to come and she will tell you how to get there. should be fun. william

I have a (Black cochin roo) (red cochin hen) (white cochin roo)all are bantams and they are very pretty birds i bought them in a lot so buy 1 buy all you know how that goes i was told they were about 6 mos old let me know if you are interested

Hi Everyone,
We're in Mt Airy. I've bought chicks from breeders on BYC. I usually only read here, but signed up as a member this morning.
We raise beef cattle, and of course, chickens!

Shane, I sent you a PM about Black Australorp cockerels, 14 weeks old. Not sure that it went through though - no copy in my sent messages folder. We own property in Raeford and will be down there this Friday. Could bring a cockerel, if you're interested.

Here's a pic of one of them, was taken 2 weeks ago.

Figued i would post this here and see what happens. Ive got two year and a half doninic sex link sisters that i would love to trade out for some RIR or orpington hens or whatever hearty breed hens you might have. Im going in a different direction as far as breeding so these two have to go. They are good layers and excellent brooders so you would have no problems getting them to lay eggs. This is totally not about chickens, but I need to find a place near Catawba county to board a mare. She's older and I'm retiring her. Does anyone know a place that might have a stall or paddock available?
