SCM - <sigh> can't sleep...uncomfortable (still having some cramping/pain) with 12 days to wait for the next Ultrasound.

I am hoping the discomfort means that the "issue" is fixing itself and when I go in for the US they will say, "perfect...everything's where it's suppose to be and the thickness it needs to be"!! Thank you so much for keeping me in your thoughts/prayers!!

Hey all!!

Sorry I've been quiet lately....SUPER busy with work.

Today I'm using the cold to my advantage and plan on having the oven running most of the day. Have yeast rolls and cookies to bake.

I need ideas for dinner....my sister bought be a cast-iron dutch oven for my bday and I'm DYING to use it....ideas?

I also need to get some pictures for y'all....I bought a White Rock hen the other day and she is MASSIVE. She must weigh 12lbs.

Anyone see Ideal's specials this week?? I'm dying to try those Red Broilers but don't need 25......anyone feel like splitting?

Good news!!!!!

Went outto let the chooks out this morning and I find a recently molted hen stepping away from an egg!!!! Let's hope the others follow suit too.....

Double A, how are the little ones you got from me doing? I finally got the rest of them outdoors, under heat and light still.

I have one pullet that started laying about 1 month ago and without egg-xageration, she has not had a day without an egg since her very first one! Yesterday was the first day I've had 2 in quite a while. I'm guessing with all the chicks I'm going to have way more than I need when it warms up again.

Ally, they are doing great. I ended up with a hen and roo....so I'll have to find somewhere productive for the roo to go...lol They have been outside and without lights for a while now. They are in the "chick pen" and will stay there until they are big enough for one of the grow out pens then the hen will be added to the Barnevelder's Harem.

Bhep, I did! I wish I had known you were there it would have been nice to put a face with a name. I saw ALL the way to the right by the fan. I bought the biggest one and had I known they were all that sweet I would have bought 2-3 more. They all were really nice.

I don't think I'll be going this weekend but possibly the following Sunday.
