Haha...Beth the chicken caterer!!
Sadly DH woke up sick and DD was up all night long (thus me too) with night-terrors and a fever (cold related maybe??) so it looks like once again we will be missing a show. I guess it's for the best...since BHep is taking orders, I might get suckered into wanting to bring a few more home, and until I get Susan settled....I'd better wait....that and pretty soon, I'm going to need a bigger coop!!
I really hope you all have a great time at the show...if you think of it PLEASE take lots of photos...especially of all the pretty ones so we can
over them!! I'm partial to all things gold laced - I don't know why, I just think they look regal - and FLUFFY - the big fluffy not silkie tiny fluffy!!
I haven't hit the silkie bandwagon....YET
Give G&A a little more time to get me on board!!
Today I think I am going to stay away from the two sick ones as much as possible and do some more baking...I have a special batch of cookies to prep seeing as we're having our first official BYC visitor (aside from G&A who brought us our first set of chickens!!
and Vfem who did a special jam class for my sister's birthday) on Monday!! COOKIES!! Also going to try making a cinnamon coffee cake from an OLD recipe only making one small substitution - no buttermilk here.
hope it turns out well...otherwise DH will have a bland breakfast tomorrow!!
Have a great day everyone.
ChickensXOXO - there are a lot of silkie lovers on here, so if someone isn't directly in your area, they might know others who are. Good luck!!

Congratulations on getting so many eggs. Since we started worming, we've been getting 8 eggs a day...of course they all are going in the compost, but still....makes me excited at the future possibilities!!
I am SO excited!! Maybe we'll cross paths on Wed's RFF's feed pick up?!? I'll be the pregnant one with a little one running around saying "OWL"...
