Bhep, I'm so glad to be rid of those evil hens. I'm not sure what was wrong with them but I'm convinced that it was them and not the roosters.

You are too sweet!! I will say I'm not sure how I should feel reading about "evil hens"...I'm thinking I may never want to?!? LOL...After all...I'm still a bigger chicken than they are!! LOL.

Well, off to take it easy tonight...having difficulty breathing for some reason...I think the baby is stretching and putting both feet on my lungs!! LOL Regardless, it's a good excuse to get off the floor and stop sewing for the day...Tomorrow, I will finish the 2 saddles!!

Everything picked up from around here.... Polish, Java, EE, OE, Frizzles (Diablo) Sizzles, Lav.Orps, Serama, bantam Cochin, bantam Wyandottes, bantam Ameracaunas, LF AMs, ducks & RIR eggs I got at the auction. I think that is all.

NH, Nothing appeared to be wrong with them. It was 2 Delaware hens. I put them with my BCM rooster and he attacked them visciously. Then they went in with my new Splash Orp rooster. He had them in the corner bleeding but didn't bother any of the other Delaware hens. Finally I gave them to the sweetest rooster ever...Tank. He started attacking them after 3 days. I'm convinced it was them and not the roosters. They are gone and there is peace at my house again.

BTW, if you are having trouble breathing when you are sitting still you need to CALL EMS/GO TO THE ER!!! Don't make me drive over there and make you go! Difficulty breathing isn't something to take lightly or "sleep off".

Good Morning.........

1 wee chick hatched his morning and 1 zipping and a drop in the humidity in the stinking bator

A lot of shuffling around and cleaning last night, IDK what happened.

Had to move my New Years babies out last night, forgot.......... I have painters coming today to paint the ceiling in my dinning room and kitchen, so I will have no access to the laundry room aka chick room. Beside the fumes would kill them

. So baby Turkeys & new chicks move into my moms room today along with me, all the dogs, my friends son, who I baby-sit today and my laptop.

Going to be a loooonnnnGG day.
