North Carolina

Thank you SOS. I was really wondering what all the talk about it was and thought it sounded something like that. I bet it's fun to go to, but too far away for me.

Mine haven't as far as I know. Your the second person I have heard from in NC that their muscovies are laying. I hope mine start soon!

Michael, better look around some more, I kept waiting for mine to start laying and they were sneaking into the chicken coop and laying in the shaving then covering them up.

Its Snowing!! And we have goats living on the front porch because their shelter wasn't finished (it has sides but no roof) lol hope everyone is staying warm!!

Sorry to disapear on you guys--busy couple days! The chicks were really popping and then yesterday we got a new coop cleaned up for our new silkie breeding pair and some four month old splashes we brought home from a local breeder, Barb Grubb. Between those and the general barn and garden work, my laptop was terribly neglected!

Here's a pic of our day old white silkies. Aren't they just too huggable?

And here's the breeding pair of splashes. First the roo, who's been given the name Puff Daddy,

And the pullet, named Miss May, who had the good manners to lay us an egg this morning!

Can't wait to collect a few more and pop them in the bator with our white pullets lot. LOOOVE hatching!

Hope you guys are staying dry and anyone at Wicked Chicken has a great time!

HT- I sent you an email a little while back and never got a response?

Sorry Amy, my emails can get away from me sometimes.
