Is it Billy, out north of Charlotte? He's got a nice set-up there. He's very Texan.

No, his name is george and he's kinda in raeford area. Hopefully I like what I see so the drive is not wasted.....I'm alot more picky than I used to be

I know what you mean about the wind, all the sheet metal was ripped off the roof of my coop, I had to go out and tie down a tarp over their new skylight! Took me all day to nail down the metal again!
Your friend is very lucky to have a friend like you SOS.

Awww you guys are making me blush

I live only a few miles up the road, we didn't get much wind problems yesterday, a few small things blown away, but nothing big like the other week when I lost my grill and lawn mower covers to the wind...And had a big tote thing I was using for flower bed got blown around and tore up...

But yeah got to go back out there this weekend and make a trip to the hardware store to buy some stakes so we can stake them to the ground and she may need to consider more permenantly achoring that large one with cement - shes lucky she didn't have her chickens penned up or they'd have been flattened!

Im just curious, what legal ramifications are there for housing a flock swap, id like to do one at my house, what are some good ideas for a flock swap?

how would i set it up?

I have 90 acres so plenty of land for parking , and im i the country here in dudley NC.

What's the difference in the two? I love my BOs and would love some different colors in with them.

BIG differences, one is lavender and the other is blue, totally different genetics.

Word of advise....... make sure you do not see any birds that look sick, act sick or sound sick. If you have shoes you do not wear around your own flock, wear those. Bio-security is everything.

What are some of the differences in the two? Any traits or marking to look for? I've only had BO's, so I'm not sure what to look for?!?!?!?!
is there anything that would steer me away from blues? HELP?!?!?!

Blue is pretty...nothing wrong with them. $4 is VERY cheap for Lav. They should have grey legs, a little pink on their toes is ok, it will turn grey.

here is a pic. of some of my babies: Lav Orps. Java and Ancona
