Good morning everybody, I'm wide awake before the sun and the rooster, all for a job interview at 5:30. I don't like being awake this early. Please pray I get this job, as the money is badly needed.

My newly hatched lavender chicks have a lot of yellow on their tummies.....is that normal? Has anyone ever had any golden campines?

To the new folks!! We are glad to have you!!

So today is the big build/plant day around here. DH is already outside playing with his newly built potato box...the man cannot do a simple potato box, but instead had to put hinges on it and this and that...even asked me if I wanted it painted!!

Did I mention he wants to dig and "plant" steel posts for the support structure for the grape vines. NO, we don't even HAVE grape vines!! I think someone is getting into the whole Homesteading idea!! Either that, or he is giving himself so many projects that he will be unable to be inside all spring...I wonder if he's avoiding (or trying to) changing new diapers!! LOL.
We will be FINALLY putting the trim on our coop...the last finishing touches that are only a year in the making!! He also decided that he wants to change the door style, so we are going from being able to open the doors out (like a regular door) to a barn style door that slides left and right. He's hoping this way the wind won't rip it from it's hinges (which happened at the last big wind storm). I sometimes wonder if he forgets I am about to drop any day now (well...according to ONE, I can't drop for another 17 days) so I don't move as fast nor am I as helpful as I could be if there wasn't this huge basketball protruding from me!!

Anyway...for those of you going to the swap today...HAVE FUN!! Try not to bring home more than you take to sell!! For those of you, like Bhep, who are sorting and selecting what stays & goes today...good luck!! My barn is always open to take a few more ladies off your hands!!

I think hubby and I will go to the swap. (not at 8:00, though!) I've got my last two Jersey Wooly rabbits that need new homes. Then the rabbit barn will be split and converted to quail and pigeons.
