Looked like a lovely day as I was driving to work this morning. I can not wait until I'm off today! I have a four-day weekend that I'm looking forward to. Yay!

I baked sourdough pumpkin/cranberry muffins and pecan pie muffins to bring in to work today, just to celebrate. (I love to bake...and eat, so I must share the calories!)

All my chickies are doing well. The eggs in the incubator are looking good. I'm starting the second incubator tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get a good hatch on turkeys and chickens.

Good morning (early afternoon) everyone!!

Busy day planned here...our whole day consists of anything that entails walking...LOTS and LOTS of walking!!

DH will be building a "quarantine" coop and we will use that for our broody - he told me he had some extra wood from building the coop and we had left over hardware cloth, so why not?!? This way she will be FREE from being bothered by the nasty rooster and those pesky girls that just HAVE to lay in her box. I found her sitting on 10 eggs AGAIN today. She has been sitting on an average of 10-12 even though we only gave her the original 4 she had!! I can't wait to see how she does hatching...I believe there are only about 2 weeks left before they hatch - IF they hatch (this saturday will be the 2 week mark of her sitting).

Beautiful day in store...hope everyone has a wonderful day!! I must go eat now that Hollow has been talking about these yummy sounding muffins!!

NH, you walk that baby out!!! I walked 1/4-1/2 mile every morning to try to get DD out of me. My nephew would walk with me and talk to her in my belly telling her HE was getting impatient! He had no idea how impatient I was getting. Hahaha

I know I haven't been around much, and I probably won't for awhile again. I have sadly gone into another downward spiral of symptoms. So my immune system has crashed again. The dr prescribed me some anti-vitals which turned out to be in the hundreds of dollars without insurance. I signed up for the Walgreens insurance plan, which is a yearly payment, not so bad. Dr was able to get me on a different type that the Walgreens plan will cover. I'll only need the meds during 'crash' times and it will shorten my time significantly until recovery, so hopefully it will not be months of suffering but keep down to a few weeks max. Or even less since some of my episodes were only a week here and there and I didn't know what was happening until it was over.

I am FIGHTING this... I can no longer sit and just sleep and rest and come here to b*tch. So I wanted you all to know I actually have a fighting chance now, and I'm ARMED!

So, gimme a chance to get on the med cycle and I'll let you know how I'm feeling in a couple of days.

Hello Everyone!!

Boy you guys have been busy got a lot of catching up to do!!!
I candled the eggs and all 9 of them are developing wonderfully

I cant even imagine the thought of them all hatching, I was just hoping for a couple to hatch but I may get 9 little ducklings

We have a third dog in the house right now ( we do pet sitting ) He is a Plot Hound named Elvis. Maybe I can get some pictures posted of him. . .
