Was going to post a photo but not sure how on here!!

When posting a reply...look on the tool bar, there is a little square with a tree, click that and follow instructions to insert pictures.

Just checked in the silkie pen before we move the meat birds out.... found a duck had pipped in one of the eggs. Made me realize I've lost track of the days as today is day 32 on that egg! hahaha

Going to move the duck in with the meat birds I think and raise it for food as well.... Going to be a longer wait until process though. :p

How cool! Do you do your own processing or go to a butcher? Do butchers even process fowl?

Good afternoon all, hope everyone is well this week.........

Have just spent the week browsing, so welcome to all newbies, and can anyone tell me why we now have 2 North Carolina forums?

The other was made along time ago when this thread was not very active and got buried a few pages down. Someone started a new one when they couldn't find this one. The other had been buried, but someone has brought it back up again.

i ain't been long moved from rockingham county north of greensboro.i'm living in indiana at the moment.and it looks like i will be here fer a while atleast.seems strange to be on the other side of the mason dixon line and it is quite beutiful up here(besides there being no mountains).i been keeping an eye on the weather down there and it seems be warming up nicely.i expect the kiddos will be floating down the river before long.....i'm gonna miss that too this year.anyway before i ramble on to much just wanted to say hello to all my north carolina people and i wish you all well on your chicken adventure's!

Thank you and to you too.
