Good morning!

My butt is still dragging from yesterday. The family tradition continues.....we made 20 gallons of molasses. We'll make a second round in 2 weeks. We do this every September. The family has been doing it for close to 60 years.

Apple Festival in Lincolnton is next Saturday. Looking forward to taking the kiddos to that.

If the chicks are feathered in...put them out. Just make sure there is an area where they can get in away from rain or wind. Tarp/wood whatever. If they are piled up on top of each other, you may want to put a low watt light bulb... I use a 60 watt reptile bulb, seems to be just right.
