North Carolina

I have been checking several weather sites and right now it looks like Thursday is going to be a very small snow event. The moisture is leaning more South of NC. Morganton is expecting trace to 1 inch. Mountains Trace to 2 inches. If anything manages to lay on the roads it should clear off Friday. It is still a ways and we all know how accurate the weather folks are.

Does anyone here know of a hatchery or even an individual here in NC who sells Polish chickens? I'd really like to get a Polish Rooster for my flock. Every time I see one it makes me smile and wish we had one. Teresa says she doesn't want a roo but I'll be you dollars to doughnuts that she'd really like one of these if it showed up one day. A young roo would be perfect because I could put him in with the Ladies immediately.

I HOPE YOUR RIGHT!
We are a mile from a main road so we have to wait for it to melt, which takes forever because the drive way gets no sun

The only car we have is a Toyota Corolla. With the last snow we walked for 8 days in the snow and than 2 days in the mud. The one day it was raining and I was carrying two seramas up the hill. Thankfully they where light

Thanks Matt for all this VITAL information.................. Now all of you that are going to the show please note item 3 on Matt's rules!!

DW - Allison - has been a slave to the sewing machine, has just mailed out 3 aprons today, 7 confirmed orders to collect at the show and has a selection of at least 16 more made to sell to anyone that likes them at the show!! And I know she DOES NOT want to bring any home........ Depending on if I release the shackles to the sewing machine or not then there maybe a few more to add..........

And for you Sandy, this doesn't include your goodies!!!

So remember Rule #3........
