Good morning everyone
NH- my friend raise pygmy goats and has a 2 and 4 year old boys. She gets about 4 gallons of milk a week. And they have a high fat content, for good cheese and butter. Pygmy goats are kinda an unkown dairy breed, being listed as dual purpose, but mainly used for pets, and they are easy to resell. Around here, you can find an expecting doe for 100$ and wethers go for around 30-50$, doelings(bottle babies) go for about 50-75$.

Hey ab, we had close to 4" our son who lives 9 miles from us had 6'' just depended where in these mountians and elevation you are at. All gone now.

don't really care about color. how old are they? my roos are around 8-10 months i think. they are crowing  now. one is black and the other is white. not sure about a 3rd one yet.
we talked earlier and i could never get ahold of the guy that was looking for some hens. sorry i never got back to you about that.

my white hens are 1 and a halfish yrs old i would be interested in anything but white (to many of those already)

I wanted to post here before Craigslist. I have standard Easter Egger chicks ranging from 2-8 weeks of age $3 ea. or 5/$10 straight run, I also have a small flock of 5 bantam Cochins $80 4 females and 1 male (blue, black & lavender) excellent for breeding. We hatched a LOT of gorgeous chicks from this flock! Located in North Lexington. PM me if interested - NPIP.

A late Good Morning, Everyone!

Glad the job is working out, NC. It's nicer that way!

Ice on my windshield this morning, so it's now time to start parking under the carport instead of pulling through it and stopping just the other side, closer to the door. I, for one, do NOT like cold weather.

Getting the brooding section of chickenhouse 1 re-cleaned this weekend, and re-bleached, in preparation for chickies. First batch should be mailed on the 7th. Woohoo!

I now have all the official paperwork from the state releasing the quarantine, including the last lab report. Yay!

Now, lots to do today, so I need to stay. off. the. computer!
