They're going to freezer camp at about a year. We never castrated them when I was kid if they went that young. I don't have either the equipment or strength to do it or help hubby do it, so I think these get to retain their testicles for while.

Yeah, Mom usually had a nurse cow who would take on extra calves so she didn't have to bottle feed much. They stayed on their adopted mom for months. But bottle raised come off early. Same with goats and sheep.

it's amazing how a couple extra hours of sleep
can revive energy levels in an old body.......
now if only I could find more dylight hours in
the weekend so I can get more gators moved
out of the swamp, things would move off that
dang to-do list......it's something to keep me busy
