My son has swooped in, grabbed his dog and sundry other things, including the chick with the slipped tendon that would never stay back in. That one will be snake food when he gets home. We're back to four large placid doggies, with the smaller, highly active one gone. The squirrels and our cat will be relieved!

Hi all, in Carteret county! Looking for some local babies

I could set some eggs for you if you like. It will be a couple of months, but I would be willing to do it. I could set your eggs or mine. Or, Newport Garden Center sells really healthy chicks for $1.69 each and I don't think its too late to order. She gets the best green egg layers.

I would like to know if anybody in Eastern NC would actually like to start an APA club. I am willing to do the work as long as I have some members to start with. Please PM me with name and town you live in and I will get the paperwork going. There is no way I can drive to Linden for meetings. I really would like something closer.

I will try it again, if I get another with the problem. Likely this was just too swollen to hold.
