North Carolina

Well, we went to the baby doc this morning and the GF is 2-3cm dialated and 50% effaced?! LOL I guess that means "on schedule"? But here's the problem: I was going to go to WCA on Sunday but not sure this is a good idea to leave her home alone. Would anybody be willing to take some birds for me for say like a 10 or 20% comission? (I'm sure my spelling is off today) If not that's fine too,LOL HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!!
Congrats!!!! First one?
When's the due date?
I don't know that I'm going to make it out there, so I can't help you out, sorry.
As far as the baby goes, you're usually 2-3 cm the last month, and with both of mine I was 75% effaced by 38 weeks.
Rendering a guess without knowing the due date going on my experience working as a nurse in labor & delivery before deciding to be a stay at home mom-- you probably have another 2 weeks to go, so you should be good to go on Sunday.
Do you know what you're having???

Thanks! yeah, first one, It's a BOY!!!! and the due date is the 13th. I'm iffy about Sunday because she is quite full of complaints right now, and she would be very unhappy if I wasn't there to wait on her.....

If anyone near Burnsville, NC has a large breed rooster they don't want to keep let me know. If forgot to close the coop last night and something got my big roo, and 3 of our 10 week old chicks... and a lot of eggs, including my fake egg...Lol. But I am looking for a bew big rooster if anyone has one they don't want or need I'll take him.

OK gotta build my nesting boxes this weekend.... Any suggestions for doing it quickly? Would love an exterior nesting box, but may have to make some concessions. Need it done this weekend.

Hopefully any week now we will have some eggs. Hoping for an incubator for mother's day!

Okay thanks
WCA is about 2 hours each way from me, so I didn't want to leave them with a sitter for like 7-8 hours.
Plus they love chickens!
WCA is only about an hour for me and I am close to
the Goodyear Tire plant on the northeast corner of
Fayetteville.

Luke....take the birds to the flock swap in Beaver Dam
where Hwy 210 and 53 split.......just a few miles past the
Cracker Barrel next to Hwy 95.......you'll be closer to home
then and get home quick if needed. Swap is Saturday.
