You need to give a time or mile limit. Some people I know think that the west coast is driving distance!

Show? Off to google.

Thanks for the welcomes, I'd better add, I'm (up in/down in/over in) Pitt County.

Pretty new to this and to this location so trying to get up to speed.

Have found the wicked chicken auction (tyvm whoever sold the incubators there) and some local-ish breeders, Just wondering what else I've missed out on so far. All help and steers in the right direction greatly appreciated.

Any bulk feed suppliers local would be my only question so far.

Where can I get food grade DE by the pound? I've seen it at seed and farm supply stores but they sell it in small containers for almost $13. So far the best deal I've seen is on Amazon. 10 lbs for $22 and 50 lbs for $60 (cost with shipping)

Sorry, but I sold all of them. Beautiful birds, but unlike the white leghorns, they laid tiny eggs!

Hope everyone has a good day. Try not to get blown over!

I have heard that about non white leghorns, and that they tend not to lay as many as a white leghorn will.
Yup. Small, and fewer. Since I sell a lot of eating eggs I couldn't afford to keep birds that don't lay what I need.
