Went to the urban chicken today and picked up two polish chicks and these hens. I traded my barred rock and silkie chicks

I have a non-chicken question. I am new to the area and I am looking for a farrier for our horses. I have checked CL, FB and the yellow pages, but I prefer someone who comes recommended. Does anyone have farrier they LOVE that would service Granville County? Thank you!

I did some checking around Last night ,and from what I see out there you need to breed from what you have an be selective .NYRed is right you have some of the best out there Lakenvelders

I would recommend Johnny Woods not sure what his number is any more ,he lives in Angier.. When I had my show Arabians
he was the only one I would let do them.. another good one is Thomas Flood same area

I haven't yet decided if I want to try showing, but I might want to get in on classes to prepare for it regardless. It'll help me know what I'm looking at when I go to shows, if nothing else.
