I think Lily is gonna start swim lessons this summer though. Whether he likes it or not. I knew how to swim by the time I was her age.

VERY sweet photos!! (My personal favorite is the duckie suit!!) I have a frog that talks any of you are welcome to "borrow" and "misplace"...I would NOT miss hearing "HI I'm Lilly" and then "Night-Night" ... my DD can only turn it off/on...over and over and over and.....

I hope everyone is staying safe outside... Out here it is raining sideways and in circles. Anything that isn't nailed down is being flung around (oops...forgot to bring in my compost bucket...oh well). Sorry to hear some of you are getting

WoW... just had something fierce blow through here. Blew the barn door off, flew through the air end over end, flipped over the basketball net, lifted up the trampoline and broke the frame, shingles and a shutter and branches scattered around the farm. Glad that it just minor stuff, we are all ok and animals are all accounted for and safe.


Looks like more on the way.

I'm happy to announce my husband's flight was NOT delayed due to the mess out there...but he did have a "rough" landing.

I can't keep this to myself. I get a call that says, "Hey, honey...did you know there's construction on 540? I said, "No. Is there?"

so...we ARE relatively new to NC, but we've lived her long enough to know that 540 is NOT FINISHED...so rather than going East...He went West.

Sorry...I couldn't keep that to myself. I just HAD to share with you all. Now that it's out of my system...he'll never know!!

you know what Ruth Ann, my dh and I were born and raised in FL. when we moved to the mtns I did the same thing meant to go east and ended up going west for quite a ways too before I realized I wasn't headed home. so glad my dog was with me..
