Is anyone in the Sanford area looking for the heavy duty shipping coolers for frozen foods? My neighbor has three out at the curb for trash pick up but I can have my wife grab them. They make awesome starting points for DIY bators. I hatched my first set of eggs from one and had a 100% hatch rate. Let me know soon and I'll send word home to grab them.

My husband said he'd love one. He wants to try make an incubator soon. :)

Ok, she secured 2 coolers. You can grab one or both when you come and get the chicks.

Humm I got some they a bit smaller about 1 foot square on the inside would that be too small? I get a shipment every month and hate throwing them in trash been trying to think of some purpose for them.

Also been thinking about what I am gonna add to the flock this spring. I want to add 6 - 8 hens EE and orphs most likely. The Wife been askin about some ducks I got plenty of room and I luv duck egg cake so why not. It just not sure where to get them see plenty of chickens for sale but ducks not so much. I am leaning towards cambells and mocoy (sp?) anyone know where I might find some?

Not sure how far you are from Clayton, but there is a weekly (actually twice weekly) auction they have there that has pretty much any livestock you could want. Look for Wicked Chicken Auction on FB and they post what they will have each week. I've seen lots of ducks there, ducklings and adults.

Looks like a good Auction but it on the wrong end of the state. FYI I am between Asheville and Hickory
