Hello Miss Lydia.
frow.gif

The hen is doing very well, she stopped sneezing only few days after I started the antibiotic, and she has never lost her appetite during the "sick" time, so I still question if it wasn't just allergies.
The little chicks are growing very fast and they are a very happy family. The broody hen is an excellent mother perhaps a little bit to zealously. She is still very skinny, because she gives all the food that goes in her mouth to the chicks. I tried to give her some of her favorite snacks hoping she will be tempted to eat, but she always gives it right back to the chicks. So I just let her be and do her thing.

arianna so glad to hear your hen is okay and that the little family is doing well also, I have chicks due on the 4th, I am so excited.. went and built a little ramp going into the brooder my frizzle is in and put a piece of a board across the front so she can get out but chicks can't till they are all hatched, don't want to take a chance on one of the other chickens getting a hold of one..

those are some cuties Beth, loved the way that little duck is looking at the camera.. Are they your calls or are you hatching calls? can't keep up with you..
