Greenskeeper~~you raise them, we'll buy them

Last summer we adopted an orphaned blue bird chick (parents were killed); I know we spent at least $25 a week on mealworms, crickets, and worms from PetSmart. My husband's an avid birdwatcher; to him, it was just an investment

Now that I have my chickens addicted to mealworms, I better find a way to feed their habit or else: ..good morning all, well we're finally going to get to Church this morning after 2 weeks of being canceled because of snow and ice. Today is Christmas dinner and boy do we have some good cooks, [county cooking at it's best] can't say I fit into that catagory but anyway we'll be waddling in sometime this afternoon, looking alot like our ducks after a good feed. Talk to ya'll later.

good morning neighbors
Cool 22 this AM with light breeze~~no frozen waterers though

Miss Lydia~~glad to see you survived your trip to Walmart yesterday.

I finally delivered a Partridge roo to a wonderful young man who lives in Burnsville. I had been "holding" it for him for about 2 months....

Kathie~~hope to have some Partridge eggs for you in the near future. Honey (the queen) should be hatching her clutch today and back to laying in a couple of weeks. Cocoa has started squatting, so she should be laying any day now. Plus, I've got two other pullets that should be laying in the next month. Bator only holds so many eggs, so your first on the list...lol

All right folks~~where's everyone this morning???
