I love when someone posts exactly what I'm thinking!!

Miss Lydia, good to see you!! I'm not sure what happened to October, feels like it just started last week and now I'm in November!! I need the extra hour we're getting in our days this weekend!!

I sold 3 doz eggs at work this week! I was asking $1.50 per doz and I have a waiting list for next week! Crazy!

You sre too cheap on your eggs!! I am selling for $4 a dozen and also have a waiting list...... you need to cover your feed costs, that is all I do it for......

You know I am up...I don't sleep past 3am much anymore. I think the baby is showing his/her Irish side and was busy doing a jig this morning...at least that's what it felt like!!

Hey Kenneth - care to come over and teach us how to do that??

We're attempting to homestead too, but our garden failed miserably this year (it was the first time anything's been planted on the land). We're tilling up the grass this weekend and plan to do it a few more times come spring. Poor DH will be spending most of February and March planting trees in the orchard while DD and I watch from inside...where it's warm!! Hehe!! Keep us posted on how you are homesteading & tips are ALWAYS welcome!!

REMINDER: Tomorrow night is day light's savings time...don't forget at 2am Sunday morning (or whenever you go to

bed Saturday night) to set your clocks BACK 1 hour!!

you get an extra hour of sleep!!

If you were closer I'd be glad to LOL chickens are easy and quick pigs on the other hand are not hard but take a while to process as they say you can eat everything but the squeal but if all you're doing is sausage its hard to mess anything up you'll be grinding it anyway I haven't looked but theres probably some videos on YouTube
