North Carolina

Hey -- my name is Mallory. I just spent a ridiculous amount of time this morning reading a lot of the end of this thread. Thought I would pipe in and say hi :) Last year was our first year trying chickens, and it was horrible, they all got really sick and we had to cull the flock. We decided that we would try to do this again, so we got 12 chicks from Tractor Supply on Saturday. Cleaned and sanitized everything and hopefully we will be lucky. Our neighbors chickens free-range and end up in our yard almost daily and never have gotten sick. So I don't know what went wrong with ours...

Well I hope everyone is doing well -- the weather has been great and hopefully spring will be here soon!

JD is in Wilmington!. anyone want to come finish the baby's room for me? The weather has been too nice for me to want to do anything inside, so I've been procrastinating. Her due date is only 2 months from today!!!!! I guess I better get to workin' No new chicken news, bees are supposed to be here today, and I've recently found myself addicted to QVC?!?!?!?! What is wrong with me? (hahahaha)

I'm a graphic designer/artist. I just finished a big mural on my niece's wall of tinkerbell, and I'm in the process of redecorating my parent's house. Also did my little brothers room in Green Bay Packers colors, including the ceiling fan complete with green and yellow alternating blades with the "G" on them, lol.

That sounds like the fun part.....I'm talking about refinishing the hardwood floors (without the proper tools). But I must admit I'm very proud of myself for doing it alone. I've only got about two days left of prep (would be less if I didn't have to work) and then I can get the new poly on. Happy Humpday Everyone!
