Good Monday Morning Everyone!! Spent the early morning hours listening to the Healthy Life Summit - it's super interesting/informative. There was a speaker talking about butchering your own meats! Very interesting.

So sorry I missed WCA. Sundays are just so busy for us, it just never seems to work out! I hope all of the birthday girls had a great time and the "birthday bash" went well!

Know you were in my thoughts though!!

Well, I'm off to do some online shopping...looking for some Kiefer grains and some lacto-fermented goodies (yogurt)!! Have a great day everyone

Guess what! I have a doe goat that is trained to walk on a leash and will eat out of your hand that you can borrow. Currently she is tied out at a friend's house clearing out some brush. Why don't you take her next so you can get used to having a goat around and she can start clearing out some under-brush for you?? :)

I am down the road from you in Whitakers......... I would, hands down, do sand. And yes, you are right to do the hardware cloth. Good luck!

Would you do only sand outside and shavings inside..?? Also should i wrap the coop also with that wire?? should i try to have the coop up off the ground ..thinking ahead about having to patch a hole.i'm just full of questions to get this right and make them safe and healthy.. I'm on FB as Judy Bass....or wronghandedartistofredoak.com

Oh, now that's a great idea! A trial before a commitment! Not something most of us get. What kind of goat is she?
