I tell my DH about the response I got of what to do with bantam eggs. He tells me to go ahead and hatch them. (I get to have chicks) Now I just need one of the girls to go broody.

So, daring woman I am, ask can I put a couple large eggs in too. He says yes.

Check out the tiny egg i got lol it is so cute and tiny... im going to blow it out to keep and see if there is a yolk inside. I just wish i had a scale to see how much it weighs in comparison to the other eggs i get

That is a little one On a happy note, 14 of 18 eggs have hatched... The other 4 are pipped but just happy to hang out with their beaks out

I'm on the western side of the state, but I only have one silkie, a 3 month old blue. You might look up Bat Cave Silkies, or Henthymes.
Thanks!

I'm a little desperate. My daughter set eggs to hatch this week, but only one of the silkies made it to lockdown. The silkie egg hatched, but then the next day, my son accidentally let the cat into the room with our brooder, and he killed the little silkie chick! My daughter is heartbroken.
