Good Morning Everyone!!

to all the new people!!

It just started raining here - of course because I was going to do diapers AND have a little birthday party outside for the birthday girl!! I guess I will need waders just to get to the car from what it sounds like. Well, I cannot complain because it was beautiful yesterday and today...well the rain will hopefully prove to us that our fruit trees that we planted last year are not ALL dead (I'm beginning to wonder...had a few fall over dead already....fearing the rest might kick the bucket!!

)
Let's hope the rain quits long enough tonight to get the broody moved and all of the eggs placed under her!! I am attempting to hatch out 3 NEW (well, new to me anyway) breeds!! I have English Orps (WOOHOO), Swedish Flowers (WOOHOO) and Amerucana (or however you spell that...LOL) x Leghorn (pretty blue early egg layers - WOOHOO)....now to see if I can beat my rooster ratio with a hen ratio!! I was "PROMISED" these were all pullets - LOL but then they were handed to me and it's anyone's guess now. The countdown until May begins tonight!!

I hope everyone stays dry and the wind that we're in store for doesn't do any damage for anyone!! Stay safe and have a GREAT weekend!!
