x2 or like my neighbor's wife, she is allergic to something in the feed, so she can't feed them but she can still be around them.

the comb looks large hard to tell with the flash. But it looks like maybe a boy. Take a picture in a brightly lit area without the flash, so we can see the comb better. sure is Gorgeous though

Without flash would help alot. Don't know if the sexing trick that works on barred rocks works on the cuckoo orps, but if it does, you have a boy.

If the barred rock (come to think of it it works on cuckoo marans as well

) if the bird has a whiter look to the feathers its a male, the females have a darker look to them. Pretty easy to look for on the run of the mill birds. I have noticed that on the really good show birds, it can be a little harder to see .....mmm gotta love a good barred bird
