North Carolina

I just watched this new mail woman stand in front of my mailbox for a solid 2 minutes trying to SHOVE a box clearly marked live embryos INTO my mailbox AFTER dropping it on the ground getting out of the truck!!!!!!!

I mean, I'm sure they are rough with stuff in the postal system but I didn't expect it in front of my house. We live in the city it's maybe 75 feet from the box to my front door in the amount of time you almost break my box trying to get it in when it's clearly too large, you could have walked it up here! She finally notices me in the window giving her a *** look and she brings it up. I say, "you know there are live eggs in there that are fragile." And she says "Oh I didn't know what live embryos meant."

Edit: apparently the letters w-t-f gets bleeped out in posts, I wasn't trying to be crass or offend...

Hello! I am thinking about ordering some chicks from Meyer hatchery. The only problem is, shipping for a small order is double the price than for 15 or more. Anyone else interested in combining an order? I am in the Fayetteville area.

DTS, sounds like you need a dog kennel with a cement bottom to it and maybe even an outer fence so that you can go in and out with out the dog pushing past. Post pictures of the bird and where the wounds are and we can help you with the bird.

Just looking to replace a few birds to my mixed flock that I have lost to predators

I especially miss my white leghorn and speckled sussex. I was also going to pick up a couple new breeds to add. I don't need 15 though!
I have 3 White Rock pullet chucks for sale. Approx. 4-5 weeks old. $7 each.

I've got a red sex link & some ameraucanas that are 5 weeks old, & some blue marans just under 2 weeks
We already talked about the Isbars I'm going to grow them out a little to be sure, but it's really looking like it's 3 girls
