Talked to Vet today, Aki is still the same, which I guess is good because he isn't getting worse. I miss him so bad, he always sleeps with me at night and now my bed feels so empty

I am so sorry! Been there, done that with a lot of pets and it was horrible every time. Same is definitely better news than worse. Hang in there, we're all pulling for him and praying too.

Good morning folks

One of the things about winter I don't like so much
is the lacking amount of daylight......it makes hard to
get projects done outside after I get home from work
when it's already dark outside. There is a lot of pruning
needing done and several plantings that need to be dug
up and relocated.......plus I hate housework and really
don't want to be stuck inside with that.

hope everyone has a good day

Having a lovely hatch going on. 16 EEs (Ameraucana x Silver Sussex) and an as-yet-undetermined number of Welsummers. 21Wellie eggs went in. Can't wait to see how many hatch. This is my last hatch this year! No more chicks until March or April.

I think. ;)

Hello everyone. .. I have three red sex link that are picking on one of my easter eggers... they are trying to keep her away from food and seems like picking on her for no reason... I am thinking I am going to have to separate... The easter Egger looks like she is losing weight. Any thoughts if I should remove the one getting picked on or should I move the one doing the picking... The easter Egger will be a yr in Jan and the red sex link will be 6 months in Dec ...

I have a smaller coop and run that I can use but have them all in one coop because it has electricity. ..other does not.

Thanks again in advance.

I would separate out the aggressor. That way when you re-introduce her she'll be at the bottom of the pecking order and will have to work her way back up. Meanwhile the EE will be able to work her way further up the pecking order and put on more weight. Good luck!
