Rooster still doesn't want to eat or drink alone. still feeding him with a syringe. it breaks my heart. I was going to clean out the other roosters pen and put him in with the easy going rooster and hens but he started a fight. So I guess I'll just have to wait til DH gets here so one of us can hold him while te other moves his pen and sprays it down. :/ little turd bout got his tail whipped though. Maybe he will know better next time. They both are fine. Not even any blood. I keep their nails and spurs trimmed

Unfortunately I have to throw away my naturally colored eggs because I'm worming them right now. I have a question for those of you that have wormed before, I gave them a dose about 10 days ago. Thought that I was suppposed to wait 10 days then give them another. I gave them another dose last night. But after reading some I realized that I was supposed to give it to them for 3 days then final dose 10 days later. Do I basically need to restart it all over from the beginning so that they get the right dose or what? I'm using Safe-guard for goats. Thanks for any help.

Fenbendazole stays in the system for only 36-48 hours so I honestly would only throw eggs for 3 days from most recent dose, if even at all since when used with turkey's the package says there is no withdrawal time for slaughter. I assume this is because fenbendazole is not absorbed into the blood stream readily and goes through the digestive system (which is why it is difficult to overdose)
I honestly think you will be fine to continue dosing as if you started with the full three days. Maybe if you are paranoid after the last dose you can wait and do another for good measure but honestly I wouldn't worry.

I've been looking at the pros and cons of using our (not used anymore...grandkids too old) trampoline into a run that I can use for the adult chickens to stretch their legs in.. I it very substantial but I would reinforce it......just trying to picture how to fix a door.....They wouldn't be in there all the time or even everyday. Its so heavy that we can't hardly move it anymore and we've never had a problem with any pieces coming loose..if I had, LOL,,,it would have been in the dump by now...we can't get it apart!!! how can I fix a door?

I think that you need power tools, lots of high power tools, maybe even air-tools (they can cut apart and reshape anything)

I've been on fioricet imitrex zomig effexor xr even narcotics and nothing seems to stop it.

that's why I was trying to find a home remedy instead I shelling out 70 dollars to go and be prescribed another useless medication. The zomig was 19 bucks per pill!

Look into oil pulling (swishing coconut oil in your mouth, no swallowing, for 20 mins per day), and also you can rub lavender essential oil on your temples when you get a headache. The oil pulling has gotten my husbands migraines under control, to the point where he only gets one occasionally and when he does, Excedrin usually takes care of.
