good luck getting rid of them... you might just have to have fried chickenIs anyone interested in some cockerels? I have a bunch that will need new homes eventually. I have:
13 week old buff EE (EE/ buff orp mix)
3 month Rhode Island Red (was supposed to be pure but I think it's a RIR/ barred rock mix)
7 week old "ameraucana" Easter eggers- these should have beards, muffs, pea combs, etc but assorted non-standard colors
7 week old australorps
7 week old black laced red wyandotte
8 week old mixed breeds (buff orpington/ EE and BO/ olive Egger)
I am in Moore county. I can take some photos of them if anyone is interested.

sbrooks88...........I'm soo sorry....my heart breaks with you....That's horrible.I wish I had room for more chickens. Maybe I can have more if I ever move. But idk when that will be. DH said he would rather go ahead and kill my rooster instead of watching him suffer. But I can't bring myself to do it. I love my rooster and I have been hand feeding him for 3 weeks. I am the ONLY reason he's still alive no treatments have helped and if I left him alone he'd starve which is worse than just sbsuffering. Truthfully it hurts my feelings watching him eat. I cry whenever I'm with him.![]()

could it be his liver? all these symptoms remind of when a human goes through liver failure.Hmm his breath smells like yeast rolls right now. Hasn't been smelling at all. Not even this afternoon at his feeding. Any ideas y'all?
