Thanks. That is a little far, I think. It is about an hour and a half from here to Angier, and that can be a bit far if someone throws a shoe. I was hoping for someone a bit closer, anyone have any ideas for farriers closer to Oxford?

Good morning folks

Spring breaks is over and it's back to the old grind
stone for me. I did the usual trying to get lots of
yard stuff done and over did it a bit with my back.
So it's been rough trying to get a good night of
sleep and I am tired......guess I need to go back
to work so I can rest up a bit.

Good morning all!
Didn't get my coop finished over the weekend, but it got much closer to being finished. All that remains is adding the siding, and the hardware cloth.

Anyone know where I can get some REALLY good Black Copper Marans eggs?

I have met a woman named ann at the east fayetteville flock swap that has beautiful bcm and eggs. She will probably be there this saterday
I bought eggs off ebay from a breeder, once for blue and once for black.
Both chickens have really good coloring & nicely feathered shanks (the blue moreso than the black), and I'm getting dark eggs, but I want DARK eggs.  I know they go through cycles and will be darker at different times, but mine have never been as dark as some of the darkest I've seen in pictures.
It doesn't HAVE to be show quality as I'm not showing, but I'd like it to be as close as possible.

My reply got mixed in your post. I have met a woman named Ann at the east fayetteville flock swap that has bcm and their eggs for sale. She will probably be there this saterday. It's the first saterday of every month at the feed store is highway 53.
