Ok CS, I think her husband was able to massage it back into place. He heard a little pop anyhow. She doesn't seem to be in pain but is resting and alert. Let's them pick her up and fuss with her. Hope it heals in a few days time. Thanks :)

Dang one of my modern hens won't stop being broody I tried letting her hatch some eggs but it got too hot then I tried day old chick trick and she wasn't having it I'm afraid she'll be broody until she gets too weak and dies she doesnt eat or drink nearly enough unless I take It to her
Just had broodies hatch some chicks last week and still have some on eggs. The outside temp doesn't seem to mess with the eggs being brooded.

Glad they were able to fix the leg. They may need to wrap that hip
joint to help it heal while in place if the ligaments got stretched a bit.
