Good morning folks

How quickly summer has slipped away. The mornings are cool
and so pleasant, a hint of fall coming soon. The birds are enjoying
this break in the heat and don't you know they will soon hit that
explosion of a feathers and need the warmer weather. They sure
look funny when they are molting.

Good morning folks

How quickly summer has slipped away. The mornings are cool
and so pleasant, a hint of fall coming soon. The birds are enjoying
this break in the heat and don't you know they will soon hit that
explosion of a feathers and need the warmer weather. They sure
look funny when they are molting.

The sun peaked out for a split second this morning...now it is clouding up again.

Speaking of molting, one of my geese was standing in front of me this morning, she stretched and flapped her wings and feathers were falling all around her.

Did the rounds last night and this morning. I think my son and his girlfriend did a pretty fair job of keeping the critters fed and watered.

I had fun visiting the grandbaby...but I am exhausted. DC is horrible to drive in, even with a GPS. Too many roads, too much concrete, too many trains, too many sirens. Too much noise. Short visits will be it for me. I can't take too much of the concrete jungle. I'm getting more and more attached to my little farm. The peace and quiet is wonderful.

Can't blame you there. The hosting club is talking about putting one on in spring also, I think.
