We are still needing to shrink the flock....BIGTIME. below are breeds and birds I have listed for sale. I'm needing them gone by the end of this month (August). I had a few other birds for sale but those are already taken. sorry its such a small list!

I live right outside of Raleigh.

Hens:
-1 Americuana cross (1.5 years old)

Roosters:
-1 Japanese Bantam Americana cross cross. (orange with lacing and beautiful iridescent black tail)

Chicks:
-3 white Japanese bantam silkie cross (about 1 month)
-1 black Japanese bantam silkie cross (about 1 month)




Having these guys all go to a home will be great. seems like not many people are looking for roos though....especially cross roos. I don't know where to find them homes.

He looks like he could be a non muffed/ bearded ee. Or he is just some random mix. Only way to know for sure is the breed him to a white egg laying hen and see what the pullets from that cross lay.

Good morning folks

Yesterday was the 4th day of school for the students and yesterday
was the first car to pass the stop arm on my route. I know folks don't
want to stop but it's about safety.....not hitting and running over a child
trying to get on a bus. Folks don't realize too that most of the buses and
all of the buses in Cumberland County, have cameras on them that also
record those cars passing the stop arm. Please be careful and stop for
the bus.

All the time Hollow, I see or hear about people passing the stop sign on a bus a lot. It's only when someone gets hit that it makes the news. It's a shame that most people will speed past these stopped buses and in school zones/ parking lots as if there's no one around. I also find it funny that most of these same speeding people would be calling for the death of whoever it was that hit their kid for doing the same thing that they themselves do. It just flat out amazes me sometimes. I know it's probably a little worse at my kids school since it is right across from a high school, but the people speeding in the parking lot are parents with kids going to the same school as mine and most of the ones speeding on the road to the school, tend to also be parents. I always wonder why it takes a life for someone to realize the reason for stopping with the school bus instead of passing it.
