Chirp Chirp too. I lost a roo very much like our other lady just yesterday. Heaven knows what caused it. He was slow one day and the next there was green puss pouring out his rectal area. Sigh........... he was only a little over one yr. My pretty Del. roo. No more baby chicks here for awhile. I might get one in the spring to raise. I was too sad to talk about it yesterday. He(Adam) was a good roo.

I am so very sorry about your little roo! Just when you think everything is going smoothly.....you feel like the chicken world crashes~~~~especially when you have only one roo.

He was not mean too. Soo the loss was hard. I won't get anymore for awhile. I have 17 hens and all look good at this time. I got 6 eggs yesterday they are beginning to lay again. And thanks for the concern. He was a real loss to me.
