Merry Christmas and chickmas to all!!
Wishing you all a wonderful and happy holiday!
If anyone knows of someone within a few hours of Greensboro who is NPIP certified and has Sebrights I am looking for a few more pullets. Mine are just under 10 months old. Or I guess any other bantam breed? My Sebright is alone in a flock of standard chickens and needs some friends.
Thanks in advance for advice and help! And again happy Christmas!

Hope everyone has a great Christmas and a safe holiday.

I have 4 mille fleur leghorns. they are about 5 months old. Ive been thinking of selling them this spring after they lay their first egg. I was initially going to hatch more from them but after my roo was killed I realized i had too few pens and way too many breeds. What would a good price for them be in this town/city? I know they can be expensive because of their rarity and the interest in them. but i don't want to be that guy selling overpriced birds for no reason.

i might not sell them if i can get a roo or maybe keep one or two just for making easter eggers.

Merry Christmas All !!

I got a great gift this morning ! My first two eggs ! This was followed this afternoon by two more !

I love my chickens !

No idea about price or a rooster source but I just wanted to say they sound like beautiful birds! I shouldn't get involve with more than one leghorn breed (trying exchequer leghorns right now) but they would be great eye candy! :)

Hello hellooo hellooo echo

It got quiet in here, Hope all is well and it nothing more then the feasting and festivities keeping you busy.

This weather has me looking ahead, I plan to add some more birds and need to expand now anyway. I see some use more then one coop with large pen or free range. Weighting the options build a larger coop for all of them, or 2 smaller ones. First it easier to scrounge smaller stuff, budget the big obstetrical.
I am expanding the secure pen to 15 X 35 adding access too pasture to free range. The 4x6 raised coop is barely big enough now. If I built a one bird coop would the boys move? any way I should see what I can find for building materials, Humm how big was them pallets I saw?
